When a price, free tier or plan on one of our tool pages changes, it lands here with the date we logged it. Each tool page shows its own history; this page shows all of them, newest first.

How this is made

The date on each line is the day the change reached our listing, which can be weeks after the vendor made it; where we know when the figure was last checked against the vendor, the line says "confirmed" with that date. Our catalog is one data file under version control. A script reads every saved version of it and compares, tool by tool, the price line, the free tier, the entry paid plan, the next tier, how it bills and what a custom domain costs. Changes to spacing or punctuation are ignored. The entries are generated from that record, not written by hand.

A line here means our listing changed. Some lines are a vendor changing its price; others are us correcting a price we had wrong. Both are logged, because a wrong price you relied on is worth knowing about. Lines marked our correction (27of them) fixed a figure we had wrong or out of date, and are not a vendor price change; lines marked billing relabel (4) are us switching to the annual-billed rate, not a price cut. An unmarked line did not record which it was. A fact recorded for the first time is not a change and is not listed. We also watch the pricing pages behind 92 tools for edits, but a detected edit only shows up here after a person confirms it and updates the listing.
